Did anything change about the way you see your own sexuality/ sensuality/ body confidence as a result of this session?
Definitely! After a huge weight loss, I still struggle with seeing myself as anything but "the fat girl". All I can say is that is no longer an issue!!! Thank you for giving me back my self confidence.
What was your biggest fear in booking your boudoir experience? Did it come true and if not, what happened instead?
Whatever it is,I have historically been an extremely modest person. I have to say within minutes I was completely comfortable and topless! Hahaha! I had such an amazing experience. the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
What specifically was your favorite part of the experience?
The calming atmosphere, and new found sense of "freedom"! Plus it was just really fun.
I went into my shoot so nervous and unsure if I would be comfortable enough to go through with it; however, within just a few minutes I was completely comfortable (and half naked...hahaha). Tina and Max were so patient and encouraging, and made me feel like a supermodel. Not to mention the hundreds (not actually, but close. LOL) of messages and calls that I had prior to my shoot with Stacy. She is awesome!
I left at the end of the day I felt like I was on a cloud, feeling beautiful, sexy, and like I could take on the world. They gave me a newfound sense of self-confidence and freedom.
All I can say it that you are on the fence...JUMP off of it and just do it. You will not regret it. My husband is going to be blown away by his anniversary gift this year!

My biggest fear was not liking my photos…..
I wanted to have great photos to choose from. That fear was put to rest. I loved so many of the photos and it was so hard to choose!
Having boudoir photos taken is not just about vanity or a gift for another. It's about taking the time to celebrate who you are, to capture your beauty and uniqueness in a way that will last a lifetime. It's self-care at its best.

What was your favorite part about the session?
My favorite part of the experience, besides the great photos, was the feeling I had when I left. I felt confident, beautiful and proud.
The photos you take can become cherished memories, a visual reminder of who you are and how you felt at that moment in time.
Did anything change for you after your session?
Nothing changed for me personally. As I've gotten older, I love myself more and more every day. This experience was done as a gift for my fiance. The owner, Tina, and her fellow photographer definitely made me comfortable and feel sexy in order to have the best experience and photos!
Miss M | No more worries about "serious face" | New Orleans
We had the absolute BEST time with Miss M - when she came into her session she was so worried about what to do with her face - serious faces were NOT her thing! Something that I want clients to know is that JOY is SEXY!
While yes that “boudoir smoulder” is what most people think when they are doing a session - smiling and laughter are just as beautiful and even sexy. If you are doing this as a gift your partner WANTS to see your joy!

um hell yea, my confidence level definitely increased throughout the day. i never would be walking around in lingerie around people i met just a few hours earlier, but yall made me feel super comfortable right away.
What would you say to your best friend about doing a boudoir session if she was thinking about it and on the fence?
yes, do it! i can't want to show my girlfriends the book.

not looking "sexy" in any of the pictures, and just laughing/smiling in all of them. yall worked your magic and made me do math and somehow made me look fantastic :)

again, i just think the gradual increase in self-confidence throughout the day was amazing and empowering. yall are the greatest cheerleaders!

After a long month this session was a breath of fresh air <3 <3
We love it when clients come in to shoot with us from out of town, it is seriously the biggest compliment that you saw our work and said “THIS is who I need to work with!”. I don’t think that will ever get old for me!
Miss L wanted to give an extra special gift to her new husband and I agree that this was the perfect thing! He was so excited to get these images and she decided to do our all digital package so that she could send a sexy texty any time.
What really hit home for me was that we ALL have our insecurities, even someone as STUNNING as Miss Lex! By the end of the session she was really feeling herself and her posing became more and more natural as she felt more beautiful in her own skin.

Miss S | Bad Mama Jama | In Studio Boudior Session
We had the BEST time with our client Miss S - she even loved David’s bad dad jokes. She absolutely KILLED this session and rocked our gorgeous robes.
What did you gain from you session?
I feel more confident in my own skin since my session.
“Being that I am a plus size female, I felt very self conscious. Once I arrived at the studio all of my concerns and body woes were erased. I felt more comfortable in my skin that day than I had in the longest time.”
What would you say to your best friend about doing a boudoir session if she was thinking about it and on the fence?
I would tell my best friend that she needed to do a boudoir session as a form of self empowerment. Whenever I am feeling down I have an permanent reminder of the Bad Mama Jama that I really am.

She had a few specific ideas from pinterest and instagram for her session - I think she actually upgraded this above pose!
Building a pinterest board is a great way to share your vision and help us understand what you’d like for your session - light and bright orrrrrr dark and moody. (Our pinterest board has examples of both!) We’ll look through your board and talk with you during hair and makeup to customize your session.

What made you choose to work with us?
I knew; I wanted to do this for myself, but it had to be the right fit. After researching the company and looking at all the art work I knew this was the fit for me. Their art work was about the person and not just a photo shopped portrait. You could tell it was a passion and nothing but empowerment from within. A friend of mine had showed me her photos, and how she wished she would of used BeauSoleil Boudoir. I realized real quick the difference in quality vs quantity. Plus for me NOLA is like a second home to me, so that sealed the deal!

“This photo shoot made me look at myself in a different way. I am most days a pretty confident female, but I have never seen myself as sexy or have that undeniable sex appeal. I see myself as more of a goofy fun time girl. This photo shoot showed me a more adult serious sensual lady. I feel like what I feel on the inside, or what I am afraid for most to see came thru in the photos. I walked away from this shoot being proud of being a sensual and sexual person all while being able to be classy and yet very much myself. There is not one photo that is not me. My book shows all my personalities without any words; my pictures speak thru the work that you know who I am and exactly what is being said.”
There wasn't a lot of fear; I had more of a nervous anxiety. I booked this for myself, so I really don't know what my expectations were. All I knew was I wanted to make sure it was me, and I embraced the curves and imperfections and love me and my body. I went in very open minded, because they are professionals and trust them. It paid off!!!! They could of asked me to walk down Canal naked, and I would of done it and never hesitated.
What would you want to tell someone thinking of working with Beausoleil?
“I have friends of all sizes 0-22 and ages from 22-75. I would tell all of them just DO IT and BOOK IT!!! This was the most empowering thing I have done for myself. Also be your REAL self. At first I had a goal weight and all these ideas in my head, but then i stepped back and reminded myself this is YOU!!!!! Embrace it! Everyone woman should do one for herself not for a man, a husband and/or wife, just for them. Love yourself, and when you are having a bad day.. Stop and pull that book out and remind yourself how BAD ASS of a woman you are! Embrace you: quirky, goofy, loving, flirty it doesnt matter. BE you and not the version someone wants you to be or the version you assume you should be. I promise you will not be disappointed. There is nothing but GREATNESS that can, and has come from this experience.”

We just LOVE shooting boudoir. We especially love shooting maternity boudoir. When our photographer Max told us his wife was pregnant we couldn’t be more excited!!
Here is what Max had to say about the experience.
“I thought I knew beauty. I really did. I thought I understood beauty fully, but until I saw my dear, my love, as her body began to show signs of carrying this child into our lives, I just didn't know how beautiful something could be. I am daily in awe of this experience. It's amazing to watch her belly grow as our young little one get's bigger.
I feel so full of gratitude for the woman that she is. She is powerful, she is healthy, she is vibrant. She is everything I could have ever hoped for, and here we are. Creating this new life.

In Studio Session | Ms F | New Orleans Boudoir
Ms F looked AMAZING in her images so when she agreed to share the anonymous ones I was pumped! She was so much fun to work with and had some awesome outfits - I especially love the fishnet body suit and the zipper detailing on the bra and panty set. (You can get that amazing set from our friends at Trashy Diva!)
Her abs are AMAZING - I just adore this image that shows off how long and lean this mother of 3 is! I asked her secret and she works for it going to Orange Theory several times a week. She has definitely set goals for me since we are at the same work out place.

Oh Bridal Boudoir - How I love you!
Miss K wanted to create gorgeous, lasting images for her soon to be hubby - and they came out stunning! We love that she chose to share some of her anonymous images on our blog with our future brides because she wanted them to know how beautiful they could be as well.
The most classic of bridal boudoir is just so beautiful and intimate. The veil, the white lingerie - it's a sense of newness and beauty that rarely captured in such an soft way. We have so many brides that come to us pre-wedding because we specialize in boudoir to create fine art for their fiance's that embodies the truest form of giving themselves to the relationship.
With boudoir you are getting to create yourself into a work of art that you and your love can cherish forever.
Bringing your personality into your bridal boudoir is really what makes it true to who you are. We have clients bring in jerseys, footballs and other things that their fiance's love but we always want our clients to stay true to themselves - are you goofy? Be goofy! Nerdy? Embrace that!

Miss B | boudoir after dark | On Location New Orleans Boudoir
We adored working with this client - her confidence just shined in this shoot and she was so much fun to work with. With Miss B she wanted to work with a simple black outfit that looked incredible on her - just proof that you don't need a million outfits for boudoir - all you need is once great outfit that makes you feel amazing.
We started this session with her all black outfit under a black tank and after the sun went down things got steamier - we went from one outfit to no outfit for an amazing shower shoot - we're excited to share these select AMAZING images.
Miss B | Sexy in City Park | Outdoor New Orleans Boudoir
Things got very steamy this year at the AIBP Conference! Not sure what AIBP is..... It's the Association of International Boudoir Photographers and we were so excited to get to participate! Tina, owner and makeup artist of Beausoleil Boudoir, had the chance to offer hair and makeup to the models, be photographed as a model and participate in this awesome photo shoot!
With Beth being a boudoir photographer herself (check her out - she's dang good!!) she was an amazing model, not afraid to model for us outdoors in City Park's botanical gardens. With such a beautiful back drop - I can't wait to photograph another confident client with this flower wall!!
As soon as the weather warms - we are ready for our next outdoor boudoir!
Miss S | a bridal boudoir | Race + Religious New Orleans
Last spring Miss S wanted to do something sexy for her soon to be husband. She came to us for a gift that will last a lifetime and we were flattered because she herself is an amazing photographer! No only is she gorgeous but one of the sweetest people we've met. We had an amazing time at Race + Religious - one of our favorite places to offer boudoir sessions outside of our studio!
When it came to the bridal attire for this boudoir session Miss S brought our her veil and paired it with a delicate white corset set. The look it created was absolutely dreamy!
With such a dreamy client we couldn't was any of Race + Religious' gorgeous venue but we wanted to take this outside for a whole new feel - and boy did it come out exactly how we envisioned! Whimsical!
